Aloe Vieira is a contemporary landscape design company based in Landers, California and serving the High Desert, Palm Springs, and surrounding areas.

Led by Nastassia Vieira, a seasoned landscape designer with 12 years of experience in residential design-build, commercial, and hospitality landscaping. The Aloe Vieira team works with clients to design modern, native based landscapes for their home, rental property, or commercial business.

Nastassia began by pursuing a BA in Environmental Studies from the University of
California Santa Barbara where she focused on sustainable agriculture, small-scale food production and soil ecology. She then went on to earn a Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Oregon. Showcasing her strong conceptual design skills, and urban sustainability focus, she developed a methodology to distinguish critical suburban habitat for bird species along the Los Angeles River as well as a toolbox to convert residential lawns into usable ecological corridors.

Soon after graduating, Nastasssia worked in residential design-build, in Los Angeles honing her ability to optimize the functionality and flow of clients outdoor living spaces and defining her style creating gardens using native, drought-tolerant and edible plants. She then shifted focus to commercial landscape design, gaining proficiency in high-impact, low maintenance, and indestructible plant design, with an eye towards elevating the entire exterior environment of urban high rises and business parks. After the birth of her first child, Nastassia founded Meadow State Design, a residential design-build company, where she continued to distinguish her style of wild minimalism, drawing inspiration from the California landscapes of her upbringing, and her travels around the world. She then went on to design for a large landscape contractor in Los Angeles, excelling at sales and eventually securing the position of Director of the Landscape Department. This position oversaw the entire client experience from design through construction, the management of multiple crews simultaneously working on projects throughout Los Angeles, and ensuring client satisfaction at every level of the process. Ready for a new adventure, Nastassia moved to the high desert in 2019, added another little one to the family, and began the next iteration of her design offerings with Aloe Vieira and her husband/landscape contractor, Cody Jones.

With Aloe Vieira, Nastassia is able to authentically bring her gift for design to clients who align with the idea that landscaping should be responsible, beautiful, and most importantly, fun!
